INTRODUCTION
May I introduce myself:
I am Anne Indergaard, a retired school teacher and proud owner of the Annwn welsh corgis.
I was born with Norwegian buhunds, but the first dog of my own was a German Shepherd. I had two males and showed one of them with some success in my late teens. When I moved out, my parents got the first corgi, so for nearly 40 years we've had corgis in the family. I was completely taken with the breed, so when old Odin passed away, it was clear that my next dog(s) would also be corgis.
The prefix Annwn was registered some-and-twenty years ago, and over those years I have bred an average of one litter a year, with 27 national champions and 5 international before 2004. I have to this date owned 16 champions, of whom 4 have been Corgi of the Year and 4 are International champions. We never have many dogs in the house, most of them live with friends as house pets. At present Norw&Swed.Ch Annwn Qui Vit Verra, Kiwi to friends, and Int.Ch. Salvenik Sweet Times, Laurie to those who know him, share our sofa.
Due to judging and Kennel Club commitments I don't have very much time for showing my own dogs any more, but I still have a couple that need finishing, and I do enjoy the excitement, so we will have to make time for showing as well. For further introduction to the Annwn welsh corgis, please see my photo gallery.
